John St. Julian II

John St. Julian II is a professional trumpet player, pianist, and dedicated music educator with a diverse performance background spanning classical, jazz, Latin, contemporary, and commercial music. A versatile and experienced musician, he has performed with ensembles and organizations including The Woodlands Symphony, the Texas Renaissance Festival Brass Ensemble, and numerous jazz combos, Latin bands, chamber groups, and contemporary ensembles throughout Texas.

John attended the renowned Moores School of Music at the University of Houston, where he further developed his classical training, performance skills, and teaching experience. During his time at the university, he also marched as a trumpet player in the University of Houston marching band, gaining valuable experience in ensemble performance, discipline, and leadership.

With more than a decade of teaching experience, John has worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians preparing for auditions and performances. As a piano instructor, he emphasizes strong musical foundations, proper technique, ear training, music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and overall musicianship while encouraging creativity and confidence.
