Ben Troyer
Guitar Instructor
Ben Troyer is a guitarist, composer, and educator from Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music.
Ben has been a professional musician since 2019, performing at venues throughout the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas, and has been teaching private guitar lessons for years. While his primary focus is jazz guitar, he is also experienced in a variety of genres, including blues, rock, folk, and funk.
His teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on each student's individual interests and goals. He combines foundational technique and music theory with engaging repertoire to create lessons that are both educational and enjoyable — helping students build confidence and discover their own musical voice.
