Ovidiu Lucian Manolache
Cello & Violin Instructor
Ovidiu Lucian Manolache is a professional string musician and educator with extensive performance experience and a passion for teaching cello and violin students of all ages and skill levels. He holds a Master of Music degree in Double Bass Performance from Arizona State University and is currently completing his Doctorate in Music at Texas Tech University under the guidance of Dr. Mark Morton.
Originally from Iași, Romania, Ovidiu graduated from the University of Arts “George Enescu,” where he built a strong foundation in classical string performance. Throughout his career, he has studied with internationally recognized musicians, including Wolfgang Guettler in Germany and Cătălin Rotaru in the United States.
Ovidiu has performed with distinguished orchestras and ensembles across Europe and the United States, including the Symphonic Orchestra of Filarmonica “Moldova” in Iași, Romania, the Philharmonic Orchestra in Reutlingen, Germany, Arizona State University Symphony Orchestra, and Winds Symphony. He is currently a member of the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.
